Parkview Medical Center is hiring a Clinical Systems Technician for the new Parkview Pueblo West service department as a full-time employee in Pueblo, CO.

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and support of equipment with both medical and administrative uses. This is a full-time position, with flexible day shifts and on-call roles.


Parkview Medical Center is preparing to open our newest facility, Parkview Medical Center – Pueblo West, in September! Our Orthopedic Surgery suite is state-of-the-art and will be one of the most technologically advanced facilities in Southern Colorado. Until our opening, you will have the opportunity to train and work alongside our staff at the Parkview Medical Center Main Campus. 

Clinical Systems Technician Roles and Responsibilities

  • To perform preventative maintenance repairs, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections on new and existing biomedical equipment.

  • Recognizes and participates in Quality Improvement Initiatives (QI). 

  • To provide technical support, advice, and assistance with technical, hardware, and software system problems.

  • Supports & Installs Various Programs/Applications/Equipment

    • Monitors, Keyboards, Mice, Scanners, Signature Pads, Printers

    • Switches, COW's, Projectors, Speakers, Cameras

    • Test Equipment: Electrical Safety Analyzers, Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Patient simulators, other test equipment.

  • Communicate with clinical staff on equipment needs.

  • Provides After Hours On-Call Support 


High school graduate or equivalent required.  Post-secondary education to include Military Training in Computer Science or Biomedical Equipment Technology preferred.


CBET Preferred, A+ Preferred

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Exhibits a comprehensive understanding and can communicate the use of devices supported.
  • Can provide comprehensive support of acuity equipment for direct patient care.
  • Is familiar with the operations and environment that they support such as hospital, clinic, etc.
  • Has comprehensive experience in their assigned clinical environment.
  • Possesses comprehensive understanding and skills related to general electro-mechanical systems and devices as well as basic PC and networking systems.
  • Strong analytical, customer service and problem-solving skills required.
