  • As the ER/Internal Resource Tech this person will accomplish assigned task, such as, transport of patients, respond to codes, respond to lift activations, start IV’s on nursing units, assist with spinal immobilization, obtain and deliver dietary or medical supplies, perform EKG’s, draw blood or other duties requested under the direction of the Administrative Supervisor or Registered Nurse within the scope of practice (reference: Delegation of Nursing Task 12-38-132 Title 12 Professions and Occupation Article 38 Nurses, Department of Regulatory Agencies, Colorado Medical Board, Rule 800 3 CCR713-30, Appendix A: Medical Skills and Acts Allowed).
  • Assist the Administrative Supervisor in coordination and response of above listed tasks on all units and departments in the hospital. 





Colorado Emergency Medical Technician B+ or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – IV certification required

Basic Life Support required


High School Graduate or equivalent


6 months EMT-B or EMT-B+
