Title:  Pathologist Assistant FT ($29.15-$60.00) Exempt Position

Job Summary

• Understand who our customers are and what our customers expect of us.
• Be the first to respond to any customer request or need.
• Support other members of the work team in meeting customer needs.
• Be accountable for the technical and behavioral competencies of the job.
• Responsible for the gross examination and prosection of surgical specimens under the supervision of a pathologist.  Assists in autopsy cases and frozen sections.

Pathologist’s Assistant certification through the ASCP or equivalent required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in pathology, life science, or a related field required.  Masters degree preferred.

Experience

• 2 years clinical laboratory experience preferred.
• If the job requires driving for Parkview, the employee must have a current Colorado driver’s license, may need to be 21, and may need to submit proof of insurance coverage.
