Title:  Phlebotomist PT & PRN Varrid & 3am-7am-($17.50 -$31.00) PRN ($19.00)

Job Summary

• Be accountable for the technical and behavioral competencies of the job.
• Receive laboratory test requests, collect and process blood and other patient samples, process computer information and maintain clean environment and equipment.

Certification

National Phlebotomy certification required for Phlebotomist II from the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) or the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT).

Education

High school graduate or equivalent.  Post-secondary medical education preferred.

Experience

Previous phlebotomy experience preferred.

6 months previous phlebotomy experience required for the outpatient areas. If the job requires driving for Parkview, the employee must have a current Colorado driver’s license, may need to be 21, and may need to submit proof of insurance coverage.
