Parkview Medical Center is hiring a RN Circulator the Parkview Outpatient Center in Pueblo West, CO.

Short Description

As a Circulator RN, you will manage all the necessary care inside the surgery room, assisting the team in maintaining and creating a comfortable, safe environment for the patient and observing the team from a wide perspective. With this Full-Time Monday-Friday position, you will ensure all surgical team members perform in a unified effort.


Within this position being a strong communicator between interdisciplinary teams. Utilizing interactive technology in the daily workflow when working with clinical leadership and surgeons, as well as patients and patient care is a success factor here at Parkview Medical Center.

RN Circulator Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand who our customers are and what our customers expect of us.
  • Be the first to respond to any customer request or need.
  • Support other members of the work team in meeting customer needs.
  • Be accountable for the technical and behavioral competencies of the job.
  • To provide nursing care to patients in the surgical setting within the scope of license.
  • Serve as an advocate for patients who are under anesthesia and/or sedation.
  • Ability to be a strong communicator between interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure that surgical asepsis is adhered to during the surgical procedure, keep track and conduct an inventory of supplies and equipment used during and after the surgical procedure.
  • Supervise and evaluate the activities of other team members while simultaneously executing immediate directives and interventions in urgent or emergent situations.
  • Ability to utilize interactive technology into the daily workflow when working with clinical leadership and surgeons, as well as patients and patient care.
  • Ability to multi-task via multiple technology interfaces at the same time. 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven technical savvy with the ability to use the full functionality of medical devices and equipment highly preferred
Operating room and circulating experience highly preferred.

Education

Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Licensure

Current Colorado RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact (Multi State Licensure) required.

Certification

ACLS / PALS required.
CNOR preferred.
