Job Summary

• Provide patient centered and trauma informed care for patients that are victims of violence.
• Be the first to respond to any patient request or need.
• Support other members of the work team in meeting patient needs.
• Be accountable for the technical and behavioral competencies of the job.
• Responsible for performing medical forensic examinations, independent patient assessments and clinical decisions.

Licensure

Current Colorado Registered Nurse license or Nurse Licensure Compact (Multi State Licensure).

Successful completion of Comprehensive Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Program and Advanced Forensic Nurse Examiner Training

Experience

Two (2) years ER, Critical Care, or Women’s Health experience required.
