Job Summary

• Understand who our customers are and what our customers expect of us.

• Support other members of the work team in meeting customer needs.
• Be accountable for the technical and behavioral competencies of the job.
• Responsible for the clinical aspects of the speech/language therapy services including accurate diagnosis of communication deficits; evaluation of communication, cognitive, and swallowing functions, and screening of hearing acuity along with planning, scheduling, and conducting speech/language group sessions and programs, with individual sessions as needed and participates as an integral member of the interdisciplinary treatment team on all matters concerning the patient.

Licensure

Current Colorado Speech Language-Pathologist License.

Certification

Current Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (CCC-SLP).

Education

Masters Degree or equivalent in Speech/Language Pathology.

Experience

Recent experience in providing rehabilitation speech therapy services preferred.If the job requires driving for Parkview, the employee must have a current Colorado driver’s license, may need to be 21, and may need to submit proof of insurance coverage.
