Registration

Current Colorado Registration required as of 04/01/2011.

Certification

CPR certification within 90 days of hire;

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) required within 3 months of graduation.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

At minimum, must currently be in first clinical rotation of Surgical Tech Program with an identified completion date or must have successfully completed a Surgical Tech Program within the last three months.

Experience

If the job requires driving for Parkview, the employee must have a current Colorado driver’s license, may need to be 21, and may need to submit proof of insurance coverage.
